What is Fresh Chapter?+

Fresh Chapter turns the practical work around a major life change into one clear, personalized plan. It brings tasks, documents, official links, deadlines, and progress tracking together so you know what to do next.

Which life changes can you help with?+

Plans currently cover getting married, combining finances, moving, having a baby, divorce, buying a home, starting a new job, starting a business, and the loss of a loved one. You can also combine more than one change into a coordinated plan.

How do I get started?+

Choose what is changing and answer a short set of questions about your timing, state, household, and priorities. You can preview your starting point before choosing a paid plan.

How long does it take to build a plan?+

Most people can answer the setup questions in a few minutes. Your full timeline depends on the life change, your location, and which tasks apply to you.

How personalized is my plan?+

Your transition, timing, state, household setup, and selected support areas shape the task list and sequence. You can add your own tasks and keep only what is useful.

Where does your guidance come from?+

We organize plain-language guidance around current official sources and include agency or provider links when they are relevant. Requirements can change, so always confirm the latest instructions before submitting documents.

Can I combine more than one life change?+

Yes. If changes overlap—such as getting married and moving—Fresh Chapter can combine them into one sequence and reduce duplicate work.

Can I use Fresh Chapter in any state?+

The plan builder asks for your state so location-specific tasks can be surfaced. Coverage and requirements vary, and official state instructions remain the source of truth.

Can I add my own tasks or notes?+

Yes. Your dashboard is designed to let you add custom tasks, assign ownership, update status, and keep helpful notes alongside the suggested plan.

What is included in the Mailed Kit?+

Is there an ongoing household option?+

Can I give a plan as a gift?+

Giftable life-change plans are part of the intended experience. Choose the relevant life change to explore the best starting point for someone you care about.

Privacy & collaboration

Privacy & collaboration

Do you store sensitive information?+

We do not ask for Social Security, passport, driver’s-license, or full financial-account numbers. Add those yourself only when an official form requires them.

Can my partner or family member collaborate?+

Yes. Household is designed for up to five people to share progress and assignments without putting the full mental load on one person.

Is this legal, medical, or financial advice?+

No. Fresh Chapter provides educational organization and general guidance. For advice specific to your situation, consult a qualified professional.

What should I do if an official requirement has changed?+

Follow the current instructions from the relevant government agency, employer, insurer, or financial institution. Let support know about the change so the guidance can be reviewed.
